Local Accountants Receive Promotions

Gaithersburg, MD – The local accounting firm of DeLeon & Stang recently announced the promotions of Sweta Shah, CPA to senior accountant and Ryan Crabbs to in-charge accountant.

Shah joined DeLeon & Stang in 2003 and previously served as an in-charge accountant.  In her new position, she will provide comprehensive tax and consulting services for the firm’s clients.  Shah graduated from the University of Maryland University College in 1999.  In addition, she is a 1997 graduate of Lala Lajpat Rai College in India.  Shah’s memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Maryland Society of Accountants (MSA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA).  She currently resides in Germantown, Maryland. 

Crabbs, formerly a staff accountant, joined the firm in 2007.  In his role as an in-charge accountant, he provides audit and employee benefit services to the not-for-profits and commercial industries.  Crabbs graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a concentration in finance.  He is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma alumni association and the Golden Key International Society.  In addition, Crabbs is a candidate member of the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA).  He currently resides in Frederick, Maryland.
