Electronic Filing
Services Made SimpleAt DeLeon & Stang, we continually strive to improve our client service and engagement efficiencies. As a result of our progressive approach to client service, we participate in the IRS e-file program, providing timely electronic submission of your tax return(s), confirmation of acceptance and the efficient processing of your refund. Below is helpful information to guide you through your tax return. Signing an Electronic Tax Return—As with a tax return submitted to the IRS on paper, an electronic return must be signed by the taxpayer as well as the paid preparer, if applicable. Signatures can be provided to the Service through either of two methods: electronic signatures (using a self-select PIN number) or on a paper declaration. Refund Returns—Taxpayers are able to receive their refunds by applying part or all of their refund to next year’s estimated tax, receiving their refund in a paper check or via direct deposit. Direct deposit is the fastest way of receiving your refunds directly to your checking or savings account. Refunds may not be deposited to a credit card account. Balance Due Returns—Taxpayers who owe additional tax must pay their outstanding balances by the original due date of the return or be subject to interest and penalties. Taxpayers have several choices when paying any taxes owed on their tax returns, as well as any estimated tax.
