REVIEW & COMPILATION

Expert Financial Review and Compilation Services

Not every organization needs a full-blown financial statement audit. At DeLeon & Stang, we have expertise in performing financial statement review and compilation services, giving organizations exactly the level of insight into their financial picture that they need.

Financial statement reviews provide limited assurance on your financial statements and involve less procedures than required for an actual audit. They generally include a comparison of certain key metrics or ratios from the present year with those of the preceding year, along with inquiries about those metrics or ratios. Some example include the ratio of employee benefits and payroll taxes to salary, supporting services percentage, number of days in accounts receivable and accounts payable, inventory turnover ratio and other relevant comparisons.

This level of insight can be especially useful to an organization’s management, giving them reliable, relevant information on which to make their decisions.

Compilations are another option within our financial statement review and compilation services. Compilations essentially assemble an organization’s existing financial documents into formal financial statements with the option of including financial statement footnotes or not. In some cases, this may be required to communicate to shareholders or investors, while in other cases, it may be that management requires a quick snapshot of their financial picture.
