DeLeon & Stang Stuffs the Bus for Local Students in Need

FREDERICK, MD, Aug 3, 2023—DeLeon & Stang recently partnered with United Way of Frederick County for their annual Stuff the Bus school supplies drive. From June 26th through July 31st, the firm collected donations at all three of its locations in Maryland and Virginia. When the internal call for school supplies closed, DeLeon & Stang donated 50 school supplies for Frederick County students in need.
This is DeLeon & Stang's third year participating in the United Way of Frederick County's Stuff the Bus school supplies drive. Starting on June 26th, donation bins were placed at each of the firm's three offices to collect various school supplies such as notebooks, folders, pens and pencils.
A little over a month later, a group of 15 DeLeon & Stang team members presented the donated school supplies to United Way of Frederick County on pick-up day. The school supplies donated by DeLeon & Stang will go directly to Frederick County School District students in need to ensure they have the tools to succeed this upcoming school year.
"Stuff the Bus has always been really important to our team," said DeLeon & Stang Senior Auditor Jackie Pearce. "We've had the privilege of supporting students in our local community for three years now, and we can't wait to do it again next year!"
DeLeon & Stang also has plans to participate in United Way's upcoming Day of Action, which will take place in October 2023.
