DeLeon & Stang Team Engages the Frederick Community at the Annual Fire in Ice Celebration

FREDERICK, MD, February 5, 2022—DeLeon & Stang was one of over 30 businesses and organizations in Downtown Frederick to participate in this year’s Fire in Ice celebration. The annual event allows local businesses to participate in fun events and interact with the community.
The firm invited over 60 staff and their families from across the company to enjoy food and refreshments at the Frederick office before walking around town to see the over 100 unique ice sculptures sponsored by local businesses, including their own. The team also took some time to view the Sailing Through the Winter Solstice display of boats in Carrol Creek.
Although many fire-centric activities were canceled due to COVID-19 concerns, over 100 ice sculptures still sparkled up and down the street, DeLeon & Stang’s included. The sculpture, carved with Uncle Sam’s face and the words “We want you to think forward and join our team,” aimed to showcase the employment opportunities within the firm.

Fire in Ice is a yearly celebration part of First Saturdays, an event series that takes place in Downtown Frederick on the first Saturday of every month. These typically include pop-up shopping, art gallery openings, and more. It’s a great chance to show support for local businesses and have some fun with the family, with a fiery and icy theme!
