FREDERICK, MD, May 15, 2023—DeLeon & Stang sponsored the inaugural Aspiring Scholarship Event held on February 23, 2023. The event benefitted the Frederick Community College Foundation (FCC Foundation).

As part of the firm’s effort to support the communities they live and work in, Michele Mills, a Principal at DeLeon & Stang, served on the planning committee for the event. She also was formerly a Trustee of the Board of the FCC Foundation. She brought this opportunity to the firm, and DeLeon & Stang decided to support the FCC Foundation Aspire Scholarship Event as an “enthusiast” level sponsor.

“We recognize the importance of providing access to higher education and supporting the growth and prosperity of our neighbors,” said DeLeon & Stang Managing Partner Brad Hoffman on the decision to support the Aspire Scholarship Event.

Michele attended the event along with DeLeon & Stang team member Clint Lehman and his wife, Michelle, where they enjoyed this year’s culinary and creative arts theme. The event featured a variety of local food and wine offerings and live musical performances by student artists. All proceeds directly support students with financial need through the Frederick Community College Foundation.

“The FCC Foundation plays a pivotal role in creating opportunities for students. We proudly support their mission and look forward to continuing our partnership to positively impact the Frederick community,”
